Meet Santa Clarence
I am a Real Bearded Santa of African descent. I believe the merriment of Christmas is year around. My Santa story began when I volunteered to dress up as Santa for a Toys For Tots event in my community. I could see the need to bring joy to the children of families receiving these toys and to provide a small gift of my own. It was important to bring some hope and to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas.
I never knew what it truly meant to be Santa Claus. But after that event, I was hooked. I made a decision that day to begin finding out how to become an authentic Santa. Being Santa Claus is the best gift I have ever received!
I am happily married to the beautiful Mrs. Claus. We have two daughters, one granddaughter and a fur baby named Tip. We are members of Shiloh Missionary Church of St. Paul.
I keep “up to date” in my Santa persona by attending professional workshops. My professional affiliations are: the North Star Santas and the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas.
Currently, Mrs. Claus and I host two annual community events, a Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway, providing a turkey and side items to 100 families. As well as our annual Toys For Tots events in conjunction with the Shriners.
